The is the Mystery quilt that Cathy conducted at our "Stay At Home" Retreat in Jan 2012. After I started making the blocks with the floral print I pulled from my stash I thought it really looks like my Aunt Margaret who is 91 now and I thought she
would really like it, so I added two borders to make it a twin size quilt. Well it's done and ready to ship to KY with a pillowcase out of the batik to match. My dad is planning to go down to visit in the next week so he will be able to see it also. I really hope she loves it as much as I do and will use it, & not just look at it. lol - It will definitely keep her warm with the flannel on the back.

Bargello Quilt
I finally finished the top at our May 2010 Retreat in Berlin, Ohio.
I really do love all the bright colors and one day soon hopefully
I will get it quilted.
Friendship Link Quilt
The Friendship Link Quilt is from a strip exchange done with
a group of my quilting friends. We exchanged 2 1/2" strips of
fabric that represents you and then added another strip from
my stash to create each block. Depending on how how many
blocks you wanted in the end was determined by how much
more of your own fabric strips you would use. I also add a fabric between all the blocks to make my quilt fit our king size bed plus
three small borders and one large border of the background fabric.

Mini Miranda Bag
This is such a cool bag. It has 6+ inside pockets to get really organized.
I love this pattern and I thank Mel for all the inspiration! :-)

Here's my latest QUILT.
This is a close up of the center of the Koi Quilt I recently finished. It was an Asian fabric with Koi jumping up a waterfall. The pattern is called "Uki Ori". I found the pattern in the magazine called "Quilts with Style" Jan/Feb 2007. This was my favorite magazine which is no longer being published. They had great patterns-I really miss it. The beige and brown tones really tie in with the decor of our RV and the blue just added another color. I had to addapt the border to hang just right on the platform bed.

"Whats Going On"
Currently I am working on a Mini Miranda Bag and a sweatshirt jacket with Laurel Burch fabric. I hope to have them completed soon so I can post pictures. I am very new to creating a blog and this is my first attempt, so will see how it goes.
Hi All, Its Saturday, Sept 18th and it's getting close to my BD, but more importantly I survived my 1st week at my new job. So far I really like it, the Doc's are really nice and the staff is also. The days are kind of long but hopefully that will get better when we all get in a routine and things will run more smoothly. The drive to Doctors Hospital is not bad at all, considering Columbus traffic can be pretty heavy in a lot of the areas.
